Nanuk is an American beauty with a hint of English blood. Born in France, she now can call herself a naturalized swiss citizen.
She descends from a combination of the famous Mc Leod’s, Van-M and Wicani lineages. Her paternal grandparents are the spectacular Multi Champion Van-M Mercury the Rising Star and the amazing International Champion Van-M Holy Moly. From her mother’s side, she can call the elegant Seryphina Silk’n Petticoats at Wicani, daughter of Van-M Goodfellow, and Wicani Love On Blue Fridays among her relatives. Nanuk has the charismatic Blue Merle lineage of Wicani Waltz of the New Moon among her ancestors.
Nanuk has a well-proportioned body structure and a soft, feminine gaze. Shoulders and forelimb are well angled, and her neck is long and curved. Her back is strong and sturdy with well angled hindlimbs and strong hocks. Her trot is elegant, with a correct position of the tail. Her beautiful dark sable fur is made of different shades and has the right coarseness.

She is indifferent to shots and bangs, she has nerves of steel and she feels at ease on the training ground, as well as on the busy streets of Lugano. However, what she loves the most is running on the forest trails of the Malcantone.

Nanuk ha un carattere forte e stabile pur essendo dolce e affettuosa. In casa è la beniamina sia di Regan che delle nostre tre gatte Maine Coon. Assolutamente indifferente a botti e spari, Nanuk ha nervi saldi e si trova a suo agio passeggiando tra le vie di Lugano come sui campi sportivi. Quello che ama più di ogni altra cosa, però, è correre a capofitto tra i sentieri dei nostri boschi del Malcantone.
During training, as well as in life, Nanuk is a dog that reflects before acting. This can be observed in obedience, nose work and cross training that we practice on a regular basis. With Nanuk I discovered the pleasure of competitions since she remains unaffected by my nervousness.
Nanuk has obtained an “excellent” for her body structure and a “very good” for her behaviour at the examination of breed certification.
